Wedding Photography in Cornwall & Devon
It's going to be one of the biggest days of your life so recording it is one of the most important investments you will make in your wedding planning. Capturing a wedding comes with a lot of responsibility. It's difficult to get it right, but so easy to get it wrong.
My aim is to capture the raw, authentic moments that will make you laugh out loud, cry and become lost for words every time you look back at your photos. Above all else, I believe in natural story telling. I'm constantly on the look out for those special moments that happen during the day, like the smiles, hugs, laughs, tears, mishaps and embarrassing dancing. Great wedding photography should capture the story, love, happiness and excitement. I know how to capture the thrill of your big day in a way more traditional photographers don’t.
My wedding photography style is predominately documentary so I leave you to it as much as possible and try and blend in to the background. Using natural light where possible allows me to work unobtrusively. I go where the action is, I'm listening for who's laughing the loudest. Every wedding is different so by letting the day unfold naturally, I’m able to capture real genuine moments, most of which you won’t see.
I prefer to do a few short couple shoots throughout the day at times when you won't be missed rather than dragging you both away for long periods when the guests want to see you.
I want you to enjoy your wedding day and not feel like you're on a photoshoot. I understand that you will still want the traditional group photos. That is absolutely fine but It's best to keep it to a minimum.

Due to demand, I only offer full day packages on a Saturday unless it's short notice and I have availability. I offer full day and shorter packages the rest of the week.
A pre-wedding consultation - a Zoom call has become the norm especially if you're outside Cornwall.
This gives us an opportunity to get to know each other a little better. We can still meet in person if you'd prefer and I have plenty of real wedding albums you can look through while we chat about your plans. I can advise how long things normally take on a wedding day and give any other advice or recommendations that may help you plan your big day.
All photos will be carefully edited by myself ready for printing. There is no set total to the amount you will receive. Some weddings are a lot busier than others and the guests really make the difference. A big Summer wedding will generally deliver more than a cold wet Winter one.

Cornwall is the perfect place to elope with beautiful scenery and dozens of amazing beaches. The weather stays mild all year round so it's still great out of season when the beaches aren't packed.
