Award Winning Wedding Photography in Cornwall
I consider it a tremendous privilege to photograph your wedding. I’ve been photographing weddings for many years now and I love it. I understand just how important your wedding day is and I work hard to ensure your wedding photographs are just as special. Every wedding is different and I believe that great wedding photography should not only capture the story, but also the love, happiness and excitement of the day.
Above all else, I believe in natural story telling. Every wedding is different and great wedding photography should not only capture the story, but also the love, happiness and excitement of the day. My wedding photography style is predominately documentary with some fine art images. This allows me to capture the day as it unfolds, love, laughter, fun.
Your photographs should tell the story of your wedding day, that includes all of the details that you’ve put so much effort in to. I use natural light where possible which allows me to work unobtrusively. By letting the day unfold naturally, I'm able to capture real genuine moments most of which you won't see
Please contact me for a tailored quote for weddings further afield, including abroad. A 2nd Photographer can be available for an additional cost for all or part of the day.
Being married myself, I know how you're feeling when it comes to planning your wedding. I did virtually all the planning when I tied the knot. Photography for me is not just a job, it's a passion and I especially love photographing weddings. I understand just how important your wedding day is and I work hard to ensure your wedding photos are just as special.
Growing up in the North East, I was very creative from a young age. I went to art college at 16 and went on to study design at university which involved a lot of photography. There were no digital cameras back then so I learnt on SLR's and in darkrooms. I first moved to the South West about 20 years ago and fell in love with the easy going life and beautiful surroundings and just never left. I now live in Perranporth with my beautiful wife and cat, that's him there.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve seen life as a great adventure, filled with opportunity, discovery and incredible people. It was this that fuelled my passion for travelling the world. I've now been to around 80 countries and the list keeps growing. Long hair, a backpack, basic film camera and a guitar has been replaced with a short hair, an expensive wheelie bag, digital camera and various lenses. I still love to slum it in rickety beach huts waking up to the sound of the waves.
